Policy
Effective date: September 1, 2026 · Last updated: September 1, 2026
1. Introduction
BuddaZ ("we", "our", "us") provides an anti-detect browser platform — a desktop application and cloud service for creating and managing independent browser profiles, digital fingerprints and proxy configurations (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, why we collect it, how it is used and protected, and the choices you have about it.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the data we need to run, secure and improve the Service:
- Account data — email address, username, and an encrypted password when you register.
- Profile data — the browser profiles you create, including their names, configurations, generated or custom digital fingerprints, saved cookies, local storage, browsing caches and proxy settings. Profile data is stored on our servers so your profiles are available across devices.
- Usage data — information about how you interact with the Service, such as logins, feature usage, created or deleted profiles, and error or crash reports. This helps us fix bugs and improve the product.
- Technical data — IP address, device and operating system information, app version, and diagnostic logs collected by our servers when you connect to the Service.
- Payment data — when you purchase a paid plan, payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We receive a confirmation and limited transaction metadata (such as plan type and duration), but we never receive or store your full card number.
- Communications — messages you send to support, and your replies when we contact you.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide, operate and maintain the Service, including syncing your profiles and fingerprints across your devices;
- Authenticate you and secure your account against unauthorized access;
- Process subscriptions, credits and payments;
- Respond to support requests and send service-related communications (e.g. security alerts, account notifications);
- Analyse aggregated, de-identified usage to improve performance, fix bugs and develop new features;
- Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud, abuse and illegal activity.
With your consent where required by law, we may also send you product updates and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable (such as in the EEA and UK), we process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you signed up for;
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent fraud and improve our product, balanced against your rights;
- Consent — for optional communications and, where required, for cookies or similar technologies;
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws or valid legal requests.
5. How We Share Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — trusted third parties that help us operate the Service, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery services, and payment processors. They process data only on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal compliance — when required by law, regulation, court order, or a valid request from public authorities.
- Protection of rights — when necessary to enforce our Terms, protect the security of the Service, or defend against legal claims.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction. You will be notified of any such change.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
Our website and dashboard use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Optional analytics may use cookies to understand aggregate usage; you can disable analytics in your browser settings. This policy does not cover cookies stored inside your browser profiles — those belong to the websites you visit and are controlled by them.
7. Data Retention
- Account and profile data are kept for as long as your account is active, so your profiles remain available to you.
- When you delete your account or individual profiles, associated data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our Terms.
- Server and security logs are retained for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) and then automatically deleted.
8. Security
We apply industry-standard measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage of credentials, access controls and least-privilege principles, and monitoring of our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously work to keep the Service safe.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Enable all available security features and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access to your account.
9. International Data Transfers
Our servers are located in the European Union. If you access the Service from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the EU. Where data is transferred to processors outside the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Delete your account and associated data ("right to be forgotten");
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Receive your data in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@buddaz.com. We will respond within 30 days.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16 (or the applicable minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
